How Strawberries Improve Your Oral HealthStrawberries are often put into the category of a superfood because of all the benefits it has for your health. This delicious, colorful fruit is packed with vitamin C to keep disease away, and also contains a good amount of fiber and manganese.

Strawberries are low in calories, so you can indulge without feeling guilty.

Strawberries are very versatile, and you can use them in desserts or a savory salad. The best way to eat them, however, is au naturale. They are sweet enough, so they don't need added sugar.

Strawberries Are Good for Your Oral Health

Strawberries are packed with vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants which are essential for healthy teeth. Antioxidants help to prevent bacteria in your mouth, which causes gum disease and tooth decay.

Summertime is the perfect time to eat delicious strawberries, and you should most definitely include them in your family's diet because they have many benefits. However, there is also one ingredient in this fruit that can cause problems for your oral health: acid.

One of the drawbacks of eating strawberries frequently is that it can wear at the enamel, making it weaker and more vulnerable to cavities. But fear not, you don't need to stop eating strawberries altogether. As with anything else, moderation is essential and, making sure your kids rinse their mouths after eating the berries will help prevent disease.

Another warning about eating strawberries. Have you ever watched the movie, Pretty Woman? When Julia Roberts' character is caught in the bathroom by the handsome millionaire played by Richard Gere and he thinks she's using drugs, but she's flossing her teeth.

Strawberries and berries, in general, have seeds that can get caught between your teeth and the little nooks and crannies of your molars, so it's vital to brush and floss after eating these delicious and beneficial fruits.
