Lawrence Toomin D.D.S.
 After graduating Magna Cum Laude from USC in 1979, Dr. Toomin’s love of science and technology furthered him into the dental field. He received his dental degree from USC in 1983. He practices all facets of general dentistry with an emphasis in esthetics and he is devoted to practicing comprehensive and esthetic dentistry in his community of Toluca Lake-Burbank area. Dr. Toomin continues to study new technology and brings to his patients the latest techniques and solutions that are up to date. He is currently enrolled at the Pankey Institute: the premier advanced education institute where comprehensive dentistry is taught at the highest level to dentists around the world. His interests lie in leadership and management training (positive coaching) and it shows in his accomplishments in leadership roles as a teaching assistant in anatomy at USC. Dr. Toomin served in several Student Council positions at USC as well as Student Body Vice President. He was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the most selective and prestigious of all college honor societies.
After graduation Dr. Toomin remained at USC as an instructor of Oral Diagnosis and over the years he has frequently been called back as a guest lecturer.
Dr. Toomin is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association (with published articles in the CDA journal), San Fernando Valley Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry and he is also a member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
He is happily married (for 20 years, but who’s counting) to his beautiful wife, Jill. They are proud parents to two sons: Ryan and Michael.
Dr. Toomin spends much of his out of office time volunteering in youth sports, such as baseball, basketball and soccer. When he is not on the sports field coaching the youth, you may find him strumming his guitar for relaxation or at the gym or even practicing yoga. And in his very rare spare time you just might catch a glimpse of him on the ski slopes.
Mark Bieber D.D.S.
 After graduating from New York University College of Dentistry in 1989, Dr. Bieber practiced dentistry in Manhattan for three years before moving with his wife, Stacey, to Los Angeles. Once in California he practiced in Beverly Hills and Westwood prior to joining Dr. Toomin in their state- of- the- art Toluca Lake office.
Dr. Bieber’s training includes all facets of general dentistry, with an emphasis in esthetics. He is currently enrolled at the Pankey Institute: the premier advanced education institute where comprehensive dentistry is taught at the highest level to dentists around the world. Dr. Bieber is a true advocate for continuing education beyond dental school dealing with all aspects of dentistry and has mastered over 500 hours studying with the finest doctors in Occlusal TMJ therapy.
Dr. Bieber is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity as well.
Dr. Bieber is married to Stacey (for eighteen great years) and they have been blessed with two wonderful sons, Max and Jake and a beautiful daughter, Andie. His passion is coaching, in which he’s coached his children in baseball, basketball and soccer for eight years now. Even though his family loves California, they love New York as well and make an annual trip back.

Linda, Treatment Coordinator
 Linda graduated from Lawton Dental School 30 years ago and has worked in dentistry since than. She has served our patients since 2001, coordinating treatment and extending personalized attention to each person we care for. Linda appreciates the meaning of "excellence in dentistry" and the dedication that our team has in building meaningful relationships with patients. Outside the office, she enjoys time with family and friends, as well as watching movies, discussing politics, reading, and occasionally just vegging out.
Nelva, Concierge
 After growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Nelva completed the dental assisting program at Concorde Career Institute in 2006. She earned her registered dental assistant license in 2007 and has worked for Drs. Toomin and Bieber since then. Nelva is our concierge, and she makes sure our patients feel valued, respected, and well cared for as unique individuals. Currently enrolled in a dental hygiene program, Nelva hopes to make dentistry her lifetime career.
Mae, Dental Assistant
 Mae was born and raised in the Philippines. She moved to Los Angeles in 1997 and earned RDA certification in 1999. She enjoys being a dental assistant, ensuring that our patients receive the gentle care and personalized attention that creates a comfortable experience. Mae likes to shop and watch movies when she isn't working. She also enjoys lending a helping hand to her family when she can.
Cairo, Dental Assistant
 Cairo was born in Columbia and received his certificate in dental assisting from Concord Dental Institute in 1995. For nearly a decade, Cairo has assisted with periodontal care, oral surgeries, and many general dentistry procedures. After hours, he likes to watch movies, dance, and travel. His favorite pastime is playing softball. He has been with GLASA for seven years and has a passion for the game.
Nancy, Dental Assistant
 Nancy was born in Mission Hills, California. After receiving her certificate in dental assisting from Concord Career Institute, she became a registered dental assistant by the State of California. She has worked as a dental assistant in the San Fernando Valley since 2002, with experience in a general dentist's and an orthodontist's office. Nancy loves to spend time with her family and hopes to become a dentist someday.
Josie, Dental Hygienist
 Josie was born and raised in Los Angeles by a family of dentists. Watching her grandparents and mother practice dental care inspired her to go into dental hygiene. She earned an associate's degree from Pasadena City College in 2006 and holds membership in the American Dental Hygienist Association. She works one day per week at a periodontal practice in Beverly Hills.
Josie is engaged to Jovin and will be married in 2009. The couple has two beautiful children, Jaylene and Jules. The entire family loves sports like tennis, basketball, and football, as well as trips tot the beach and Lake Tahoe. Josie's hobbies include travel, gourmet cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
Amy, Dental Hygienist
 Born in Iraq, Amy moved with her family to Southern California in 1986. She attended the University of Southern California and earned her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene in 2004. Amy also earned a master's degree in organizational leadership from Woodbury University in 2006. Her goal is to provide each of our patients with the most secure and comfortable experience and top-quality care by catering to his or her unique set of needs. On the weekends, Amy likes painting murals and spending time with her family.
Leti, Dental Hygienist
 Leti hails from Orange, California, but she has lived in Los Angeles since early childhood. Her bachelor's degree in sociology from Cal State University Fullerton was not the end of her college career. Leti continued her education, earning a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from Pasadena City College in 2006. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and enjoys continuing education courses. Leti and her husband have been married for only a few years, and they look forward to building a family. When she isn't creating healthy teeth and gums, Leti likes to spend time with her family and do some singing.
