Lawrence Toomin D.D.S., F.A.G.D
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from USC in 1979, Dr. Toomin’s love of science and technology led him into the dental field. He received his dental degree from USC in 1983, was a teaching assistant in anatomy, and held many positions in student council, including vice president of the student body. After graduation, Dr. Toomin remained at USC as an instructor of Oral Diagnosis, and over the years, he has frequently been called back as a guest lecturer. He taught at USC dental school in oral diagnosis from 1983-1985.
Dr. Toomin practices all facets of general dentistry and particularly enjoys comprehensive and esthetic dentistry. He has many patients who are celebrities in the entertainment industry and require the most demanding esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Toomin continues to study new technology and bring his patients the latest techniques and solutions. He completed the curriculum at the Pankey Institute, the premier advanced education institute, where comprehensive dentistry is taught at the highest level. Currently, Dr. Toomin is enrolled in the Toluca Lake Mini Residency through the Frank Spears Study Club. Each year, he accumulates hundreds of hours of continuing education in courses that focus on occlusion, TMJ disorder, splint therapy, natural beauty and esthetics, practice management, photography, composite bonding, and pain management. Having secured his Fellowship, Dr. Toomin is also working on his Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry. An MAGD distinction is one of the most prestigious recognitions in dentistry today.
Outside of his general dentistry practice in the Toluca Lake-Burbank area, Dr. Toomin’s interests lie in leadership and management training (positive coaching). He is proud to have held leadership roles as a teaching assistant in anatomy and a guest lecturer at USC Dental School. As a foremost leader in his field, Dr. Toomin has published cases in the Cosmetic Dentistry Association Journal. He hosted and taught workshops on cast gold and esthetics at the CDA convention in 2010. Dr. Toomin has also prepared presentations for Dr. Irwin Becker, the Chairman of the Pankey Institute on Interdisciplinary Approach to Dentistry, and Dr Bruce Small, one of the top 100 speakers in dentistry.
Dr. Toomin is honored to have been selected to receive the 2011 Los Angeles Top Doctors and Dentists award for achievement in general dentistry, and he will be filming a segment for Fox Television soon. Among his other accolades, Dr. Toomin was recognized as Best Dentist in Burbank in 2010.
A vested professional in the dental profession, Dr. Toomin is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association (with published articles in the CDA journal), San Fernando Valley Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He participates and was past president (2009) of the Southern California Pankey Study Club.
To give back to the community, Dr. Toomin donates dentistry to recovering young men in a sober living facility. He has two sons, Ryan and Michael, and volunteers with youth sports, coaching baseball, basketball, and soccer. Dr. Toomin enjoys working out at the gym, practicing Yoga, and snow skiing, as well as playing his guitar.

Mark Bieber D.D.S.
 After graduating from New York University College of Dentistry in 1989, Dr. Bieber practiced dentistry in Manhattan for three years before moving with his wife, Stacey, to Los Angeles. Once in California he practiced in Beverly Hills and Westwood prior to joining Dr. Toomin in their state- of- the- art Toluca Lake office.
Dr. Bieber’s training includes all facets of general dentistry, with an emphasis in esthetics. He is currently enrolled at the Pankey Institute: the premier advanced education institute where comprehensive dentistry is taught at the highest level to dentists around the world. Dr. Bieber is a true advocate for continuing education beyond dental school dealing with all aspects of dentistry and has mastered over 500 hours studying with the finest doctors in Occlusal TMJ therapy.
Dr. Bieber is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity as well.
Dr. Bieber is married to Stacey (for twenty great years) and they have been blessed with two wonderful sons, Max and Jake and a beautiful daughter, Andie. His passion is coaching, in which he’s coached his children in baseball, basketball and soccer for eight years now. Even though his family loves California, they love New York as well and make an annual trip back.

Linda, Concierge
 Linda graduated from Lawton Dental School 30 years ago and has worked in dentistry since than. She has served our patients since 2001, coordinating treatment and extending personalized attention to each person we care for. Linda appreciates the meaning of "excellence in dentistry" and the dedication that our team has in building meaningful relationships with patients. Outside the office, she enjoys time with family and friends, as well as watching movies, discussing politics, reading, and occasionally just vegging out.
Nelva, Concierge
 After growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Nelva completed the dental assisting program at Concorde Career Institute in 2006. She earned her registered dental assistant license in 2007 and has worked for Drs. Toomin and Bieber since then. Nelva is our concierge, and she makes sure our patients feel valued, respected, and well cared for as unique individuals. Nelva hopes to make dentistry her lifetime career.
Tamara, Concierge
 Tamara currently lives in Burbank. She graduated with honors from College of the Canyons with a business and management degree. She has been in the dental field over 6 yrs. She loves to help our patients and is very knowledgeable of dental insurance. Tamara is currently raising her 14 yr old daughter and enjoys art, painting and spending time with her friends and family.
Mae, Treatment Coordinator
 Mae was born and raised in the Philippines. She moved to Los Angeles in 1997 and earned RDA certification in 1999. She enjoys being a dental assistant, ensuring that our patients receive the gentle care and personalized attention that creates a comfortable experience. Mae likes to shop and watch movies when she isn't working. She also enjoys lending a helping hand to her family when she can.
Mae got married in 2008 to her husband Jonas. They enjoy traveling together, photography and spending time with friends and family.
Josie, Dental Hygienist
 Josie was born and raised in Los Angeles by a family of dentists. Watching her grandparents and mother practice dental care inspired her to go into dental hygiene. She earned an associate's degree from Pasadena City College in 2006 and holds membership in the American Dental Hygienist Association. She works one day per week at a periodontal practice in Beverly Hills.
Josie is married to her husband Jovin and the couple has two beautiful children, Jaylene and Jules. The entire family loves sports like tennis, basketball, and football, as well as trips tot the beach and Lake Tahoe. Josie's hobbies include travel, gourmet cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
Amy, Dental Hygienist
 Amy moved with her family to Southern California in 1986 from Iran. She attended the University of Southern California and earned her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene in 2004. Amy also earned a master's degree in organizational leadership from Woodbury University in 2006. Her goal is to provide each of our patients with the most secure and comfortable experience and top-quality care by catering to his or her unique set of needs. On the weekends, Amy likes painting murals and spending time with her family.
Leti, Dental Hygienist
 Leti hails from Orange, California, but she has lived in Los Angeles since early childhood. Her bachelor's degree in sociology from Cal State University Fullerton was not the end of her college career. Leti continued her education, earning a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from Pasadena City College in 2006. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienist Association and enjoys continuing education courses. Leti and her husband have been married for only a few years, and they look forward to building a family. When she isn't creating healthy teeth and gums, Leti likes to spend time with her family and do some singing.
Andrea, Dental Hygienist
 Andrea was born and raised in Lake Tahoe, California and moved to the southern part of the state in 2006 to attend hygiene school. She graduated from Cerritos College in 2008 with honors and an AA in dental hygiene. Andrea strives to build relationships with each patient and help achieve optimal oral health. When she's not working, Andrea enjoys taking dance classes, going to jazz clubs and watching her nephew.
