Cosmetic Bonding

This patient wanted a brighter, more attractive smile for her son's bar mitzvah. Dr. Bieber evened out the length of tooth 8 and 9 to create just the effect she needed to look fabulous on the big day.
Dr. Bieber and Dr. Toomin may recommend cosmetic bonding to correct chips, gaps, discoloration, slight misalignments, or misshapen front teeth. With tooth-colored composite resin, your dentist will fill or cover the imperfection, then cure the resin with a light. The dentist will then artistically sculpt and polish the hardened resin to look like a natural, beautiful tooth (or teeth).
Composite resin offers a fast, effective, and attractive solution to correct smile imperfections. It does not last as long as porcelain veneers, however, so if you seek a long-term option, consider veneers. Cosmetic bonding is less expensive than veneers, so some patients opt for bonding as a temporary solution, then replace the bonding with veneers.
